Downtown Spokane Access from Brytech Neighborhoods

Buying or building a home with quick access to a major city center, like our vibrant Spokane, means three things: convenience and opportunity.

Living near downtown Spokane means you're close to a variety of shopping centers, restaurants, entertainment venues, recreational spaces, public services, and a major airport. This close proximity to city amenities makes daily errands, leisure activities, and travel easier, improving overall quality of life. Additionally, homes near city centers often enjoy increased property value and appeal.

The North-Spokane Corridor

Upon completion of the construction work on U.S. Highway 395 in Spokane, traffic flow in the area is expected to improve significantly. The North Spokane Corridor (NSC) is approximately 10.5 miles long. When complete, it will run north/south connecting I-90 at the south (near the Thor/Freya interchange) to US 2 (at Farwell Road), and US 395 (at Wandermere) on the north end. As of November 2025, 7 miles have been completed, with only 3.5 miles remaining.

According to the WA DOT website, “Travel time between Wandermere and I-90 will be shortened to approximately 12 minutes. The NSC is a free-flowing freeway that will not conflict with schools, parks, or shopping areas…Constructing the North Spokane Corridor will create the opportunity for adjacent commercial and industrial development with approximately 2,100 acres of land located along the route…Since the NSC is a multi-modal corridor, the Children of the Sun trail system will connect into the Centennial Trail and other established trail systems along with other neighborhoods.”

What the NSC Means for Brytech Neighborhoods

The North Spokane Corridor will significantly improve the commute between North Spokane and downtown Spokane. As a result, more homebuyers can explore custom homes and neighborhoods in North Spokane, Mead, Colbert, and Green Bluff, enjoying a balance of spacious living and efficient travel.

Whether you desire the peaceful vibe of Bidwell Park, the countryside-focused Fox Trot Lane, or the upscale privacy of Wandermere Lane, Brytech Construction delivers exceptional home options in North Spokane.
